Gucci is one of the most luxurious
brands – and was also named one of the most expensive. Although keeping this is
mind, their contribution to fashion is one of the most recognisable and sought
after. Gucci’s 2015 Pre-Fall collection really caught my eye. There was the
repetition of deep reds and blues as well as faux fur which has been a massive
trend this winter, and we can see it falling into place next autumn.
I loved the use of different patterns in
the collection, some of them really stood out because of the use of geometric
shapes and contrasting colours. There was beautiful detailing on all of the
pieces and lots of different materials were used. Whenever I think of this
collection the word “contrast” comes to mind – although “contrast” in an
effortless, sophisticated way.
