Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

I really struggle to find a good foundation. If I manage to find a mediocre one I kind of stick with that for a few months until it runs out and I'm forced to go into Superdrug and try something new. I must admit I'm a creature of habit - I'm a fair skinned, yellow undertone, oily girl, so finding foundations for me is pretty difficult.
I had heard of many YouTubers going on about the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation but like I said being oily means I try to stay away from anything that's going to make me any shinier (I also prefer a fuller coverage, whereas this foundation is more light to medium). After snooping around online however, I found the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation and found it had many positive reviews. I decided to take the plunge and here are my thoughts.

Colour:
I must admit I bought this foundation when I fake tanned (shade 54 Beige) but it was a good match. After re-swatching I might also purchase shade 51 light vanilla which seems the perfect yellow-toned shade for when I'm more pale. Going on my 54 shade, I can say the colour is good, it does oxidise slightly but nothing too dramatic. This is more neutral to pink in colour but as I said when I fake tanned it was a good match.

Oil Control:
With any foundation I get oil, I'm THAT oily. With this one I did notice that my oils weren't as bad (I had used a setting powder). The good thing is that if I get oily I can simply use more powder and it goes away without my foundation looking cakey or patchy.

Longevity:
I wear my makeup at 7am until 4pm when I'm at school. That's a long time including touching, sweating and the stress from exams! This foundation does hold up pretty well though. I did notice it came off of my forehead a little, but I am a hair toucher so I can assume its probably from where I'm pushing my hair back. Everywhere else help up great.

How I Apply:
To apply this foundation I used my Real Techniques Beauty Sponge as this is my favourite way of applying any foundation. I am usually heavy handed when it comes to applying makeup so I finding using a damp sponge prevents me looking caked and as if I'm wearing a mask. The foundation applies beautifully and with a lot of coverage. You are left with a dewy finish but as I said before I always set with powder.

Would I Recommend?:
Yes, I would recommend this foundation. For £10 and Superdrug doing 3 for 2 at the moment I think this is a great option. As I said before the darker shades do seem to run slightly pink, but for me being naturally very pale, shade 51 seems like a good option and is what I'm going to buy next! Let me know if you've tried this foundation and your views on it!
