It's September, which in my eyes, it's basically autumn. Whether you like it or not the days will get shorter, the trees will become bare and and the air will be cooler. In this transitional season many things change. Including what we wear, how we wear it, and also what we put on our face.
When I think of autumn I think of berry tones, oranges, browns and any shade of beige which resembles a Pumpkin Spiced Latte (HOW can you drink those things...). I seem to stick to my same MAC lipstick in Honeylove - a nude, of course - and never have seemed to experiment much with autumnal lipsticks. This year I'm taking a different approach. I want to have more shades to play with and create looks to demonstrate how wearable they are.
I recently went to Boots and picked up these L'Oreal lipsticks. PRAISE THE LORD FOR 3 FOR 2!
I wanted to get shades which were different from what I've already got in my collection, but also shades which I know I will get wear out of. The lipsticks are super opaque and have great lasting power. I have very fine lines on my lips which these lipsticks do not settle into! Despite being a matte formula, these lipsticks do not dry out my lips or become cracked. The packaging is very sleek and looks more expensive than it is! I definitely want to buy more shades in this range from L'Oreal
