If you're anything like me, your outfits mainly consist of various shades of black, white and grey. What can I say I'm a monochrome girl through and through. This spring and summer I have made it my mission to incorporate more bright colours into my outfits, so I thought I'd share some tips as to how you can colourise your wardrobe!
1) Shoes
Shoes can be a great way to add colour to your wardrobe. Even if you decided to go for and all back or all white outfit a pair of coloured shoes can really set the ensemble off! Don't be disheartened that you're struggling to add colour to your wardrobe, BABY STEPS PEOPLE! By using shoes you will gradually ease yourself into the world of colour.
2) Bags
In addition to shoes handbags are also an awesome way to add a splash of colour to any outfit. Handbags come in so many different colours, it would be pretty much impossible to not find your favourite colour.
***EXTRA TIP: if you want to be extremely daring try adding both a coloured bag and shoes:) (coordination colours of course).
3) Dresses
Dresses are an easy way to make you appear diverse in terms of colour. There are so many types of dresses that flatter all body shapes that come in a multitude of different patterns and colours! Just search around, find what colours suit your skin tone and you like wearing and I guarantee there will be a dress that's perfect for you.
4) Wear With Denim
Everybody knows that a good pair of denim jeans literally goes with ANYTHING. So, if this is the case why not pick a beautifully coloured top and pair it with your favourite jeans? That way you're still in your comfort zone with the jeans but a little bit more experimental with the top half :)
5) Use Social Media for Inspiration
I am constantly looking on social media like Instagram and Tumblr for outfit inspiration - especially when it comes to coloured items as they include great ways to style outfits that aren't just monochrome inspired.
