It may seem as if we've just come out of Summer 2015, but as usual, the fashion world is one step ahead with NYFW showcasing the hottest new looks on the catwalk for Spring/Summer 2016.
Victoria Beckham's new collection was the first of the bunch to catch my eye. I was glad to see that from the first few photos that tartan print will be in for SS16, a print which I find easy to style and can look well put together. As usual Beckham flaunted her love for loose fitting silhouettes, with only a couple of pieces showing any signs of being form-fitting. There was also many textual variations amongst the clothes - adding depth and making the pieces more visually interesting.
The collection seemed to keep a slight 70's vibe with some mustard tones coming through, but also seemed to be taking off in another direction other than the 70's - a trend which has been dominating the fashion scene for a while now.
It appears that Beckham has made such a big impact in the fashion industry, and has really made a name for herself. This collection oozes her signature style, which is comforting to know she's sticking to her guns and showing the world what SHE wants them to see.
